Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between VPS and a dedicated server?+
A VPS shares physical hardware with other customers but with strictly isolated resources (CPU cores, RAM, storage). A dedicated server gives you the entire physical machine. VPS is typically more cost-effective for most workloads.
Can I install my own operating system?+
Yes. Choose from popular Linux distros (Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky, Alma) and Windows Server.
Is there a minimum contract term?+
Plans start at 1 month. You can cancel monthly or take longer terms for better discounts.
How is the CPU performance?+
AMD EPYC Milan and Turin are among the fastest server CPUs available. Typically 2 to 3× faster than budget VPS providers per core.
Can I run a website, mail server, or game server?+
Yes. All standard workloads are allowed, and reverse DNS (PTR) is available for mail. One exception: port 25 (SMTP) is blocked by default to prevent spam abuse. We unblock it per server on request after a quick identity verification. Just open a support ticket. Ports 465 and 587 for mail submission are open.
What about Docker and Kubernetes?+
Both are fully supported. With nested virtualization on EPYC, you can even run KVM VMs inside the VPS if you need to.
